Change is Coming to MySealaska
We are delighted to announce, www.MySealaska.com has a new look, beginning Saturday, October 7, 2017. The look and navigation for MySealaska.com is new as well as incorporating our Southeast communities. MySealaska is a portal that offers shareholders an easy way to change addresses, sign up for beneficial programs like direct deposit, obtain income verification or access forms like a testamentary.
If you are an existing registered user or a new user that is registered by December 1, 2017, shareholders will be automatically entered in a drawing for prizes. Why are we offering prizes? To help bring awareness to the Shareholder portal. We are also interested in increasing the number of shareholders who have a testamentary on file with Sealaska.
What's New with MySealaska
We are holding up our communities with a new section in MySealaska.com. You can find local Native contacts on this page. A few Southeast Village Corporations have similar shareholder portals. For example, in the community information for Saxman, you will find a button to connect with MyCapeFox.com.
Sealaska seeks to empower shareholders to sustain and advance Sealaska, our communities and the region. We do that in a variety of ways, from the Sealaska scholarship program that helps shareholders with financial assistance for school, to the internship program that helps provide interns with representative work experiences that can aid them in their career development. Under Opportunities on the new MySealaska you can find information about:
- Sealaska Internship Program
- Board Youth Advisor
- Scholarship Program
- Hiring and Workforce Development
- Shareholder Hiring Preference

Do You Have a Testamentary On File with Sealaska?
MySealaska is a portal that offers shareholders an easy way to change addresses, sign up for beneficial programs like direct deposit, obtain income verification or access forms like a testamentary. A Testamentary is important and only about 25% of Sealaska shareholders have one on file.
What is a Testamentary?
A Testamentary Disposition (a will for your stock) allows Sealaska shareholders to direct who will receive your Sealaska shares after your death. This is not a complete personal will, but will direct Sealaska on your wishes.
Q: What happens if a Sealaska shareholder does not have a Testamentary on file?
A: Sealaska will have to send your Sealaska estate to the State of Alaska, who will determine how your shares will be passed on.
On request, Sealaska will assist shareholders to properly complete, sign and have notarized the Testamentary Disposition form.
