Sealaska Closing Juneau Offices to the Public
Friday, March 13, 2020

Sealaska offices in Juneau, Alaska will be closed to the public beginning Monday, March 16, 2020. On Thursday, March 12, 2020, Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy announced the first case of COVID-19 in the state. In a statement published Thursday March 12, Alaska Governor Dunleavy said the patient is a foreign national who developed a fever and respiratory symptoms shortly after arriving in Anchorage, Alaska. There are no other reported cases but ensuring the health and safety of our Sealaska team is our number one priority.

The Juneau offices may be closed to the public, but Sealaska remains open for business and staff will continue working normal business hours. Shareholders will still be able to reach the shareholder relations team via email, phone or fax.

Sealaska has decided to cancel the Hoops 4 Life Basketball Camp that was planned March 23-24 in Juneau. This decision was made with an abundance of caution and with the health and safety of our youth in mind. We apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused and will look to reschedule the camp in the future after we have better understanding of the situation.

We care deeply about the health and well-being of staff and Sealaska shareholders. We will continue to monitor information regarding COVID-19. We all have a role in being prepared, staying healthy and reducing the spread of COVID-19. Below are resources that are provided for your safety.

In a message to shareholders yesterday, we mentioned that, as a precaution, Juneau employees are limiting business travel to areas outside of Alaska. Seattle employees are encouraged to work from home to minimize their potential exposure to the virus.

As this virus outbreak evolves, we will keep our shareholders updated on any impacts to the corporation or the general public. We encourage you to regularly check the MySealaska site and our social media channels.
