Kasa’aan (Kasaan)

Kasaan is the northernmost of the Haida villages. At the end of the 1800s, residents moved from the former village, Gasa’aan (“pretty town”), on Skowl Arm, now called Old Kasaan. Kasaan is located on Prince of Wales Island. “New” Kasaan is located on Prince of Wales Island.
