GCP Machine Learning Engineer - Remote

Cognitell is seeking a Machine Learning (ML) Engineer proficient in GCP Cloud Services to support our data science and machine learning practice. The ML Engineer will develop machine learning and data science solutions, analytics solutions, and data storage and data pipeline solutions primarily in the GCP cloud stack. This role will be responsible for performing data analysis, developing and validating machine learning models, researching relevant statistical methods, and providing recommendations for operationalizing machine learning models into production. 

 

To succeed in this role, you should be passionate about working with large datasets and be someone who loves to bring data together to answer key business questions. You should have deep expertise in the creation and management of datasets and the proven ability to translate the data into meaningful insights.  

 
The successful candidate will be comfortable with a variety of machine learning models in Python or R as well as advanced SQL query and data mining techniques. Summer 2022 Civil Engineering Intern

As the Civil Engineering Intern, you will learn how civil engineering principles are applied to real projects. Your work will help design concrete foundations and steel structures used to support systems and components that are part of radiation detection systems that are deployed around the globe. Summer 2022 Environmental Technician Intern

The Sealaska Technical Services (STS) team in Los Alamos, NM, is seeking an Environmental Technician Intern to work within their Water Program. As the Environmental Technician Intern, you will work alongside this team to provide groundwater and surface water monitoring and water remediation services associated with legacy contamination from past operations at Los Alamos National Laboratory.  You will spend much of the summer outdoors hiking and collaborating on projects in both hot and rainy conditions. Project opportunities include will include groundwater and surface water sampling, operation of a pump-and-treat system removing hexavalent chromium from the aquifer, well maintenance, waste management, and data management, interpretation, and reporting. Specific scope will be based on active projects at the time the applicant is accepted into the program.

Summer 2022 Education Intern

Spend the summer in rural Southeast Alaska as the Natural Resources Intern. You will become part of our natural resources team who sustainably manages Sealaska’s lands post-harvest.
