Dam Safety Emergency Action Planning Engineer

The successful applicant will become a member of our Los Alamos project team providing program management and technical services in support of the groundwater and surface water remediation program at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Los Alamos National Laboratory. The successful candidate will have strong project management skills to support projects in coastal, inland and near shore environments. We are looking for a candidate with applied technical skills, project management, field team-leadership, and technical execution on these types of diverse projects. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the principle investigator role on ecologically related water based projects to ensure scientific rigor and regulatory sufficiency as part of a larger project team, or in managing your own projects, as assigned.

Driller

This position is in charge of ensuring drilling operations are executed in accordance with the drilling plan from implementation, completion and abandonment of drill sites. The Driller works with the crew in preparing the equipment and site for the drilling operation, setup and breakdown of drilling sites, which includes repetitive bending, lifting and climbing which may be done on a daily basis. This individual promotes safety, reports safety problems, incidents, accidents, or irregularities. Acts as a team leader for drilling crews.
